Water and rocks: the advantage of opposites for creative output
Tirza Hollenhorst, Hummingbird Labs
The same diversity which feeds our inspiration also taxes our capacity for discernment and decision-making. The vast input of information may help us generate good ideas, but good ideas alone do not add value: they need execution, which requires structure, limitation and focus. Water needs rocks and vice versa.
This session will deliver practical tools to help you navigate the ever present polarities of freedom and limitation, inspiration and craft, and love and power. We will spend the first half of the session drawing your attention to the science and our own personal labs as to why and how polarity tools are crucial for inspired, high-functioning work. The second half of the session will be a fully interactive game to create your own operating manual.
