Measuring Indirect Impact

Rhonda Evans, Monitor Institute

A key question with impact investing and venture philanthropy is how to more fully capture the social impact of investments, including indirect innovation and influence effects. These can include the development of related technologies, the acceleration of new funders into the field, and the creation of new networks of innovators. Tony Siesfeld and Rhonda Evans will facilitate a discussion on the measurement of indirect impacts, with a focus on what we can and can’t know about our effects on larger systems.
