Diana brings more than 15 years of creativity and experience in managing large-scale events and programs.

Penelope Douglas
Executive, Chair of the Board of Mission HUB LLC
Penelope became Executive, Chair of the Board of Mission HUB LLC in early 2011. Prior to joining Mission Hub LLC, Penelope Douglas co-founded and served as CEO of Pacific Community Ventures for the first 12 years of the organization’s life. PCV, a non-profit whose mission is to invest human, intellectual, and financial capital in small businesses for the benefit of economically underserved communities, has helped to create more than 5,000 jobs for lower-income workers at 250 small businesses throughout California. Penelope was additionally a partner in Pacific Community Ventures LLC, with $60 million of committed capital.

Heather Faison
Brand Manager
Heather Faison is an award-winning communicator and digital strategist. She recently joined SOCAP in the role of Brand Manager where she manages all digital properties for the social enterprise and leads the communications strategy. Before joining SOCAP, she served as Senior Digital Producer at the United Nations Foundation, a nonprofit that builds public-private partnerships to address the world’s most pressing problems, and broadens support for the United Nations through advocacy and public outreach. In this capacity, she gained a reputation for building successful online marketing campaigns for #GivingTuesday, Girl Up and Mashable’s Social Good Summit.

Timothy Freundlich
President and Co-Founder, ImpactAssets and Good Capital
Tim is an innovator of financial instruments for impact investing and social entrepreneurship. Over the last 17 years, he served in a number of capacities at Calvert Foundation, and conceived of and launched the Giving Fund – a more than $125 million impact investment-based donor advised fund that was spun out as ImpactAssets, for which he serves as President. He co-founded Good Capital, which manages the Social Enterprise Expansion Fund LP and which helped to found the SOCAP Conference and ImpactHUBs in San Francisco, Berkeley, New York City and Philly, and is part of a global network of more than 50 Hubs across five continents with nearly 10,000 members.

Philip Gaskin
Director, East Coast Operations and Business Development, Mission Hub

Philip Gaskin is Director, East Coast Operations and Business Development for Mission Hub. His career spans over 20 years of experience in global corporate management, strategic visioning and planning, revenue generation, business development, community organizing, political operations and fundraising. He has consistently excelled at positively impacting organizations and collaborating diverse teams to accomplish extraordinary goals, resulting in highly profitable business ventures and the development of strategic partnerships. As Field Director in Philadelphia for President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign, Philip’s leadership helped secure the highest voter turnout in city history. Phil was the executive owner for the firm’s largest customer business units with over $1B USD in managed travel portfolios.

Rosa Lee Harden

Rosa Lee is the Executive Producer of SOCAP. Co-Producer with Heidi Kleinmaus of SOCAP09 and 08, Rosa Lee was previously COO of a highly profitable $18 million events company she sold at the peak of the dot com era.As one of the original founders of the SOCAP conference, Rosa Lee was the architect of SOCAP08‘s wildly successful open space third day last year. She is a successful serial entrepreneur and for 25 years was an owner and publisher of newspapers, magazines, and trade journals, accomplishing turnarounds and launching successful startups that became the top publications in their markets.

Kevin Jones
Co-Founder & Convener
Kevin Jones creates information businesses inside emerging markets. He believes that markets emerge in conversation, as people try to explain and understand value. But this market is not like others he’s been in, and that’s what makes it more interesting and more important. Kevin is also founder of Good Capital, a venture capital firm that invests in social enterprises. He is also part of the team launching the first U.S. node of the Hub, a network of more than a dozen work spaces for social entrepreneurs in cities across the world from Cairo to London.

Mia Lauter
Volunteer Coordinator
Mia manages the volunteers at SOCAP and has coordinated the volunteer program at SOCAP13, Share and SOCAP Health. After several years working special events in LA she relocated to Madrid, Spain for 2-years learning Spanish and perfecting the art of eating a big lunch at 2pm. She later returned stateside to work in international exchange programs through several universities in San Francisco. She easily made the decision to return this year because of the great attitude of her 100+ volunteer team.

Jennifer Nice
General Manager HUB Bay Area
At the core of making an impact is making an idea or initiative operational. In the Impact HUB Bay Area, the woman making these things happen is Impact Hub Bay Area General Manager, Jennifer Nice. Jen is also Strategic Advisor at Impact Assets and VP of Business Development at Good Capital.

Lindsay Norcott
Senior Content Associate
Lindsay has worked on the SOCAP Conference for three years as Entrepreneur Coordinator (2012), Program Manager for the Oceans track (2013) and Senior Content Associate (2014). Lindsay is also Strategic Initiatives Officer at ImpactAssets, focused on building knowledge resources that advance the field of impact investing, such as Issue Briefs and the annual ImpactAssets 50. Previously at Entrepreneurs Foundation, Lindsay helped venture-backed companies in the Bay Area to develop and execute community involvement programs. Lindsay is a graduate of Columbia Business School and Pomona College.
